Fiafia Review

This is just a clip that might not match my writing but it is a little part from our fiafia.

Heading home from school, I grab some clothes and toss them in the bathroom, I take a shower then spray on some deodorant, I made my way with my sister & mum to school again. Walking through the breeze I smelt the delicious smell of sausages, Chop Suey, and all those other delicious foods. It was really packed Mr Burt had said that there were at least 3 & 1/2 Million people coming to watch.
Not so long after Mr Burt had announced us to move to our groups changing rooms, my groups name was called Precisely That, we had to at least bring a black top without a logo or otherwise we needed to flip it inside out, like I had to do. The other thing’s we needed to take was black shoes mostly. Mr Barks had provided with white pants, gloves, & a hat. The pants had to be put on with caution because they had been stapled around the bottom of the pants.
7:00 We started moving through the corridor into the breeze through to the library, exiting through the library it was pretty dark, we went to our area to sit down at and then watched the performances it was pretty long and tiring but the groups were really great, my group was just after the Niuean group.
As the Niuean group were performing, My group had stood up and snuck out the back to get our wooden rifles. We did a rough practice behind the marquee, then........It struck, we heard this saying “And now we have a precise group put your hands together for Precisely That!” We milled about on to the stage, I looked around towards the audience, even though I couldn’t see them I had gotten butterflies, but once we got into the performance they just flew out and I didn’t have a worry, the end we got off and I got really excited, also a friend’s gun was so weak that it broke when he hit it on the pole. It was fun to perform in front of the millions.
In the end we all walked back to our changing rooms & got into our normal clothes, we then got picked up by our parents & then I went home & jumped into bed.

Show Not Tell Exercise 2

Here is our second exercise.

Mary was hopping up and down like some apples being juggled because her older sister Jan was going to take her shopping at the mall to get a new piece of clothing that would fit."Hurry Mary we'll be late. We have to leave in a few minutes," Jan yelled frantically yelled. "Hurry up!!!".
"But sister I can't find my other shoes!" Mary whinged. Jan picked up her car keys off the bench and walked towards the door. Mary thought she would leave without her. She started to run round the house frantically trying to find her shoes.

It was the last stretch of the finals match of the basketball competition. Tama was shooting 3 penalty. you hear three aw's in a row. He feels like he has let the whole team down. When one of the kids in his team jokes about it sarcastically Tama looks at him while starting to bounce the ball and throw it at at his face.

Ms Squires, gave all of us a task we could at least be in groups of 2 so, I partnered up with Braeden who is one of the new kids to our school, we did one paragraph of two stories our first one was about an Angry sister & the second one is about Kyle who is nervous, please enjoy our writings

Emily was angry. Emily asked “Let me come with you! I want to shop with you!!!” “No way you’re too young you will get lost” Laura said, then Emily clenched her fists and started to stomp out while giving her sister the evil eyes and yanked the door open  and locked herself in the basement and she swore and punched the wall” She is such a brat but she has to get over it” thought Laura. Laura opened the door after 5 minutes. Emily looked at her sister & scowled and asked politely “Let me come please Laura” “OK since you asked so nicely” replied Laura.

(Kyle was nervous.) He had put her name down for but is not sure if he will get in the team. He walked away to the bathroom and puked she felt butterflies still, In a few seconds Kyle walked back out to the courts, he started breathing shallow & his legs started to shake. In a flash it was like he fainted but he hadn't yet. He started to have a sweaty palm. He was not confident and but when his name was called out last he almost screamed with joy. He started ran over to hug his mum who was watching the practice for the team. ”I am in the team, I am in the team, I am in the team” Kyle yells in amazement. “This is the best thing ever.” Kyle says.
